They Shall Mount Up with Wings Like Eagles: Theological Studies
The Seminarium Incarnatae Sapientiae (SIS), founded in 1753 by Bishop Antal Zsigmond Sztojka, has continued its academic endeavors in theological research since 2008 as the Department of Roman Catholic Pastoral Theology at Babeş-Bolyai University. Throughout its over 250-year history, alongside its teaching mission, the Department has consistently played an important role in the publication and dissemination of research findings in theology and related fields. It was in this spirit that the journal Studia Theologica Transsylvaniensia (StThTr) was established in 2000, complemented by a supplementary series, Studia Theologica Transsylvaniensia Supplementum (StThTr.S), in 2024.
In the StThTr.S series, monographs, doctoral theses, and edited volumes of studies in the field of theology and related disciplines are published. The series pays special attention to the publication of the research results of doctoral students as well.
